Pride flows yet again! Congratulations to the Canadian Women's Olympic team on their godl medals. I still have yet to find out what music is on those CDs they keep handing to the winners, but since Becky Kellar is just down the road I'll have to ask her when she gets home. Now we'll just have to wait and see if the Men can take their lead and figure out how to win again. Good luck guys, the country is watching. (No pressure eh?)

that's awesome! proud to be your southern neighbor, girls!
Why does CBC keep screwing up? First they said Germany was the first country to win a gold in snowboarding, in 1998, when it was actually their own bloody country - Canada! Then, when the women's hockey team won gold yesterday, they said Canada had won their 2nd gold medal of the Olympics, when it was actually our 3rd.
Stupid CBC.
Congratualtions to everyone
The egomaniacs at the network here in the United States have proclaimed in numerous high volume ads that the U.S. is going to dominate the winter olympics. Yes, they swear it's true. Perhaps I'm just old, but I can't seem to recall anytime in history when the U.S. was the King of Winter. Anyway, the Olympics has been conflicting with some good TV. And some old reruns. I can't believe I've been watching reruns instead of the Olympics. This is going to be like last time, when I tune in just in time for the very end and then regret having missed it all.
Mr. Rainy Pete:
Yes, congratulations are in order. Your canadian girls proved themselves. Our bronze CD wearing team missed their opportunity to meet their northern neighbors in the playoffs due to a young Minnesota bound goalie who happens to be from Sweden. Alas. Oh, to be a canuck.....
They were Great!!!!!!!
Our men go it going today I hope they are able to repeat the double gold for us.
I thought you were going to say, "Let's see if the men can figure skate." LOL
;-)
Speaking of figure skating, did you SEE how many pairs fell? It was awesome! It's like when the cars crash in NASCAR!
