What reason would one have for clutching a foam clown nose in your hand when you are dying... Will it be helpful "later"?

Ever wanted to run away to the circus and become a clown? He did for he loved his red nose. Yet, he couldn't/wouldn't leave his wife and his 2 kids, he loved them so. He found a way to have his cake and eat it too, being the wise fool he was, he achieved the degree of 'Advancement of the Art of Clowing' and went on to entertained both kids and adults. Doing a great job as i remember, all without leaving his home base. I suspect his death was yet another hazard of the job. After all, he was a clumsy fellow. That seems to be the only explanationn why he was often refer to as 'clod'.
WHAAAAA-WHAAAAAA-WHAAAAAAA!
Damn it! Did he have any cash on him? He still owes me 10 bucks!
I demand to see the body! Tomorrow is enchilada thursday and I'm broke.
Aww, dude, sorry to hear of your unfortunate death. Or mayhaps it wasn't unfortunate at all. What's your ghost doing on October 28th? Wanna haunt a party?
so here i thought i try to write a better comment than my usual. so i went looking for key words in google: clowns, obuitaries etc..i came across the word origin of clown/clot, clod:clumpsy fellow according to the Oxford English Dictionary (Wikipedia), so off i set out to write a funny comment..
it is a couple of mins from midnight. i was lying in bed and all of a sudden i thought i look up 'clod'..ouch. insults all around..Oh Pete, pls see the intention and not the end result..i shall never again try to be funny again...yikes, what a way to put my feet in my mouth...
Here i was trying to connect dots..i was never good at those games, why try now? here i thought, blah, blah, that clod/clot meant clown. you, red nose=clown...

i will never write another obituarie..but if you ever want someone insulted, hey you got my name.. Whaaaaaaa!!!!!

Congratulations! I mean, my condolences...you were a good man. May the gentle memories of your prematurely short life comfort you in the dark cold of the (literary) grave.
At least you died well. Took that nose down with you right to the end. :)
It wasn't me. It couldn't have been. I swear I was nowhere near him. And besides, it was only a dream. Only a flipping dream. It wasn't real. Just a dream.
