HNT #50

So it's Thursday again and that means it's HNT time again.

Nothing against those that will do the usual posts but my heart's not in it for smart assing this week.

This weekend marks another Remembrance Day

It's important to take time to remember what was given by so many for the life that we live today.

People who I never knew, nor had the opportunity to know me, felt so strongly that they offered up their lives for us.

In a time when people will hardly go out of their way to hold a door or feed a homeless person, that speaks volumes about the character of these people.

We can learn plenty from those that paid the ultimate price. While we can't thank them in person we can show our respects. Thank a veteran for going to the fight so you didn't have to.

G-G-G-G-GHOSTS!!! Zoinks!

I wonder if anybody recognizes the ghosts from your picture. I wonder if anybody says "Hey! That's my grandpa" or something similar. Unless, of course, it's your grandpa, and his friends. Or if they're all brothers, then they're all your relatives anyway, and not too many other people out there would recognize them. I only have one picture of my grandpa from the war. Actually, my dad has it. It's a very cool photo that I didn't even know existed up until sometime last year, after my grandma passed away and we found it.
