What's that smell?

Ladies and Gentlemen, start your skillets! Today is officially Cook Something Bold and Pungent Day. The picture would be just one of many items that would pungent up the home. Whether you're frying limburger or boiling some sock stew, give it your all. What's your favourite recipe for this kind of day. Mine would be some good 5 alarm chili. That stuff will smell up the house in a happy way for days. Also ti will smell up the house in an unhappy way for several more!! You can celebrate tonight with a meal and tomorrow with the singing of that good ol' Johnny Cash favourite.

So stock up breath mints, antacids and air fresheners and if the heartburn doesn't kill you then maybe we'll see you tomorrow.

We had bacon for breakfast that's about as stinky as I can do today. It lingers, usually I just get it if I'm out somewhere.

You should have submitted that photo to the Food and Wine photo contest...along with your commentary. Heh.

I love to walk in the house when someone is making chili. I'm not so keen on the after affects, though.
