Enjoying the season

Is anyone else too busy enjoying the light and colours or the fall to get anything done? I can't resist pictures when it comes to this time of year. There is beauty hiding absolutely everywhere. From the shifting faces of the trees and lanscape to ethe soft and vivd light that seems to come with the murky weather, it's all just way too much to ignore. Enjoy your day and if you can find the time, go for a walk. Your eyes and sould will thank you for it.
Redder and redder still

Turning, turning

NICE pics, Rainypete!

We don't have "Fall" here...it's against the law....we're strictly "Summer" and "Winter"... there are no seaons inbetween.

Wish there were sometimes...I sure would like to see the leaves change...it must be GORGEOUS!

;)

Sadly, I'm too busy "enjoying" the thrum of flourescent lighting as it passes through the lazy dust motes of my warehouse to be out appreciating nature.

Nice photos, by the way!

That's something I miss from when I lived in the Northern Hemisphere - we don't get those gorgeous red and gold autumn leaves in NZ.

Great pictures.
I took your advice even though we had freezing rain today.
I think I broke my tailbone when I fell on the step.

Anyways, thanks for reminding me to get out of the house. Where I was safe..

your pictures are beautiful as usual. you have such a good eye. and yes, you are right, there is plenty of reasons to complain that summer has left us but we must look beyond that and see the beauty that is before us..the colors are espectacular and the smell of burning wood and the thoughts of family gathering to spend the darker evenings together are some of the things that i love..

I'm a fair bit color blind so you'll forgive me if I'm less than enthusiastic over fall colors. I see enough color that I can tell that they've changed, but I don't think I get the full impact.

that would really be a bummer to be color blind, but i never realized how much one would miss looking at the sunrise/sunset, the spring/autumn colors or redheads! lol

Those are beautiful pictures! Our leaves are falling off now because of wind and rain. But it was glorious the short time it lasted!

Fantastic photos! Our trees are really just starting to turn (I was afraid they wouldn't at all, as it has been a really dry year). I'm so jealous of your photographic skills!
